the deptford machine

utrophia have just recently moved down from the ice cream factory on tanner’s hill into the very heart of deptford, on the high street. hopefully this is going to make it a lot more visible and bring in a bigger audience for their various bits and bobs. tonight they open an interesting looking show called the deptford machine which is a a big moving sound sculpture built out of junk and stuff off the market by artist Ben Parry – you know that sounds like fun. It also sounds a bit like the sort of thing that might break so get down there and see it before it does. it’s on ’til the middle of october and is part of deptford x which also kicks off today. come on down and potter around, you can scratch your chin and talk complete rubbish about the art if you like – it’s not compulsary though.
