who burned me down?

all go in the land of the interweb today then – john peel’s record collection starts going up online, the attractive site is a little clunky to navigate and I think you need spotify to stream it, which I don’t, but I either know or am not all that interested in the stuff I see up there so far. still, all over a good thing. wonderful extreme music festival supersonic will be 10 this year and have put up tickets for sale and announced the first acts including tim hecker. so yay! for that. meanwhile the also wonderful mix site spannered is going on some kind of break and the final couple of mixes posted up are from two of the best techno dj’s about, only not playing all that much techno – jerome hill’s music for pregnant ladies and surgeon’s set from blackest ever black last october. you know you want to hear that – it’s great, starts out with John Coltrane makes it’s way through the darkness and even finds time for a bit of kraftwerk too. mmmm.
